what did you do?
i'm getting back into the photography after a 20 year break, when film was film, and i am intrigued how you did that.
i have loaned a copy of photoshop 6, and it looks mega!!!

Well I use paintshop pro XI....same difference really only perhaps less complex...

I just reduced the colour around Charley in the first picture and blurred the background, the other with him on the roof, I basically reversed an image I had of him in one picture and pasted him to fit on the roof.....

Orginal photo and then after some magic....

Original of Charley, Original of roof with Shadowfist and Ercouka then remove them, mirror Charley adjust size and paste him on the image...oh and move the Union Jack.....job done

I used to love 35mm film SLR's but this digital age is something else. You can do so much more-it's not cheating, it just makes you more creative.
With the above it took matter of a few clicks-there are lots of small errors in the detail, if I was doing them for enlargement or for someone else I'd spend a lot more time with the detail to get a perfect result.

it is not cheating when you caption that the photograph was manipulated digitally, but when it is not captioned then it can be very 'misleading'......

.......you're a teacher right? Mark exam papers? 'Misleading' who.......you are a photographer right?......as you well know......

....Practically every photograph that you see in any newspaper/magazine has had some post production. Every advertisment board etc.......

They do not have captions.......

Oh dear.....sorry to say this but you have been mislead for a number of years now..........get real......

Misleading-misleading?......the camera has been able to lie for many year now-before the digital age, it was done in the dark room. It's just that now with the digital age and software it is available to all.........yee haa!

2 minutes into the clip is me in lane 1 on my 1150GSA
2 minutes and 9 seconds into the clip is Paul (Kent Oil Head) in lane 2 with his legs up!!
