Chigee AIO 6

Is it central with the TFT on a R1300GS with the standard BMW nav mount?
It’ll wind me up if it isn’t.

You can loosen the screws on the BMW mount and slide it left or right if necessary.

The BMW mount is in the centre of the unit though, so no reason why it shouldn’t be.

I had to refit the BMW mount, so mine is definitely central but not sure if the mount is in its factory position or not.

How does it look on the bmw cradle with the camera cables attached for their front and rear ones?

Would anyone be interested in an AIO-6 MAX, the front and rear camera and BMW mount? Mine hasn't arrived yet but thinking I might actually pass on it.

I have mine installed with QR and cameras etc, it's a great unit, the AIO 5 was good but this is much better, it's a different operating system. The new integrated LIN-BUS works flawlessly, in the same way as the Nav 6 does, but with a bit more functionality, dashcam video, car play etc, all via the wonder wheel. An easy and neat install. The LTE version works as a tracker that records the route etc to a cloud server, only drawback is; it'll only work whilst the unit is attached, but it locks in like the Nav 6 does. The BSD (for what it's worth) seems to work more reliably than what the AIO 5 did, it may convince me it's worth having, as an additional safety measure. The build quality is outstanding, as is the technical backup and customer service response, they quickly sorted out a location issue with the LTE module. It thought I was somewhere in the North Sea.

Got my unit today. Tried setting it up using power via the USB C port and it keeps shutting down. I´ve tried different cables and also different power sources. Fucking crap thing! ..or maybe stupid user but so far not impressed.....
It says best to connect to the bikes power source ....but then I cant set it up as it needs an internet connection.
any tips?

Are you using the USB port under the rubber cover where the SD card slot is or are you trying the one on the back?

Mine powers up fine from the one under the rubber cover

I couldn’t get my AIO5 to power up using a charger and a lead, attempting to get it connected to the house ‘WiFi’, which the instructions implied I should do.
I connected it to the bike, it powered up straight away and I followed the instructions for connecting to WiFi but on my phone it downloaded everything and worked brilliantly during the time I had it. I’m expecting to do the same when I eventually get my 6, though I’m still waiting.
I sold my 5 a bit prematurely thinking the 6 would be here soon.

I will take it of your hands! Unless sit s a "crap" BMW version one that you have purchased then it is utterly useless to me

yes, the USB C slot next to the SD card.

It should power up and stay powered up just fine then as long as it’s a decent quality cable and a charger putting out enough juice, it sounds like the voltage/amps isn’t enough to keep it powered on

actually.....there is no ´´crap´´ BMW version EV, its a Chigee AIO 6 with an optional BMW cradle adaptor. They don't make versions only for BMW. It has a universal set of connectors so you can wire it straight to your bike's battery. The BMW adaptor means it will sit in the navigator cradle and work with the wizzie wheel....

yes, that's what i am thinking as well.. Will try some different cables.....
Doesn't like my iphone charger and cable either as apparently that's a quick charger and that's toooo much juice...temperamental fekkin thing..

you are correct Grant. I keep forgetting about the quick release base etc...
