The Chigee looks good. Certainly much better quality and interface than the Carpuride .

Two issues for me-I don’t want the silly cameras, but I hear from the above vid Chigee are working on a model without them .
And I wish it came with a powered cradle which you could buy spares separately and remove the unit from.
That way you could a) take the unit with you at night and b) use it on other bikes and only have to buy spare cradles rather than complete separate units.

I may have to pull the trigger on one for the Tuareg at that price. Just the flexibility of CarPlay / Android Auto in a well designed and built unit is hard to fault, and I am really impressed so far with the "Lite" version fitted to my V100.

Just preordered mine, without the cameras. Shipping 22nd of May. Should arrive in 6-10 day after.
Should save the faff of transferring routes to Garmin XT from MyRoute App. Just use MyRoute Next Navigator via CarPlay. Did not bother with the remote control just yet though.

i did consider one of these but rather than using a car play app just use the full phone functionality with a old phone in the connected cradle or wait until someone makes a adaptor for the GS nav prep cradle

Why wait?
The system is fully compatible with most of the modern bmw range. Allowing you to use wonder “Wizz Wheel” to control the system.

I see Chigee have announced a model which fits straight into the BMW satnav prep so is removeable but no cameras. If only I had waited a bit, early adoption not always a good thing.
