On a bike that's not had tyres changed before? And didn't think it would be courteous to tell you before they started the job? Sounds like complete bullshit to me

too right, they should have told you before they started otherwise it's pointless.

Sorry to hear about the way you have been treated, citizens advice may be worth a call if your dealer doesn't change their point of view and the damage was definately down to them.

if you need any further tyres changed fitted and you are in the north west give Steve a call at F+R tyres @ Sandbach (01270 760 795) he treats your bike with great care, ride in rideout service.
He has worked on my bike the last 5 times I have needed tyres fitting and I have always been very impressed with the care he takes.

Just logged back onto UKGSER, first time in a long time and re-read some of my old posts.
this was a 100% true story - I’m a bit older and wiser now and would never let them get away with it. Unfortunately they did get away with it though.

They thrashed my wheels on my bike and got away with it.

haven’t had a GS for a few years now - spent the last few years racing Enduro in the Vets class on a 300 2t.
