Choke /Fast Idle Cable

Hello all, I'm in the process of changing a battery box (1150GS) . Everything is going to plan except that I can't get plastic cover off the L/H handlebar switches, all the screws appear to be removed but it seem that it might break if I persevere..............Does it just clip together?

There's a screw hidden behind the mirror stalk - you have to remove the mirror to get at it. I'd guess that's most likely to be the one you've missed.

Isn't there a wee screw in the side of the fast idle lever, obscured from view by the raised lip on the rubber grip?

Cable Removal

Thank's all for your help, it's so easy when the right info's available.
I've taken all the cables out and stripped the "splitter box" for cleaning.
The two shorter cable have a couple of strands broken so will need replaced.
