Chuffed to bits

Hi all,

Just wanted to say that Friday I bought an 11,000 mile 09 GS Adv.

As I live in France and I picked it up in Yorkshire coming back via Hull, Rotterdam, Brugges, Calais, Rouen and down into Normandy I have already done over 600 miles and I'm chuffed to bits with it.

I had an 03 1150 GS before this and I thought that was a good bike, but this is smoother, faster, more comfortable (I'm a good 6ft 1").

I've seen on here that there can be problems with them, at least compared to my seemingly bulletproof 1150, but first impressions are great.

Don't worry about the reported problems, the probability of getting a major problem is pretty slim. Enjoy
