:nenauHi Guys
Just in process of cleaning my panniers and topbox, there is mild black staining on the anodised aluminium particually around the rivets. I have tried using muck off which doesnt move all of the dirt. I dont want to damage the finish...anybody got any ideas please?

Search (the facility not a product) is your friend.

All the answers and more, to an interminable length are all there. Including:

How to clean them (assorted methods)

Assorted products (tried and tested on your behalf)

Assorted tips (some more help than others) Here's a good one:

A can of cheap (ie 'own brand') chopped tomatoes.

I shit you not :)

Assorted methods of future prevention (again, some more helpful than others)

Me? Though I do have a 1200 I don't have Metal Mules, so I can't help. Though the method(s) may vary if the Mules are on a another capacity (or even make) of machine, so take care.

"Wapping" I know I'm being abit slow here, but what do I type in the search button.......Gets dark in 2 hours!

OK.....I understand now:blast Thanks wapping, I'll finish the rest of the bike now and get reading when I've lost day light. Thanks again.
