Sorry to be so petty but...

The clock on the RID reset the time yesterday during 'persistant' rain. I didn't notice when it happened (may have been during the ignition start sequence), but my worry is that it may be the beginings of water ingress and a repeat of last years RID replacement - which was done under warrenty.

Q. Is the clock reset a common or minor problem I dont need to worry about?

Q. If the bike is now out of mfcrs warrenty will the new RID (4 months old) still be covered?

I had this problem, every time I switched the bike off the clock went back to 00:00:00.
Check all the fuses, Can’t remember which one but I think it was blue.

More likely to be low battery voltage. If the voltage drops below about 9v when you try to start it, the clock will reset. If it does it all the time, it's one of the fuses.
Is the battery on the way out? Does it struggle to start in cold weather?

Thanks :beerjug: - Littlered I think you have it with the voltage drop as there were a few splutters before firing. I'll continue playing in puddles :D
