Having a quick look round on mine I cannot see how to get the clocks off easily, must need the experience.
I have looked at the parts microfiche and they seem to be held on by two snap clips and a locking ring (4 in picture), this type of clip can easily be removed using a small screwdriver.
If it was replaced by a cupped washer and a standard external circlip it may be harder to pinch, small circlips are pigs to remove without the correct pliers

We're talking professional thieves here - not just some shit who happens to walk past and nick something on a whimsy. And it's a whole network of nicking of different criminals who have specific roles and who get good at it. The bloke that wants the parts wont be the same bloke that nicks them, and the bloke that nicks them will be good at what he does. It's his living ... his job. It's how he eats drinks and pays his rent.

I have the cymarc clock protector, I think once fitted it compliments the clocks nicely, mines in satin black, great design & peace of mind... GS WC btw..

I reckon proper circlips would be worth trying. The OEM ones can be removed with your fingers, so I doubt the tea leaf would be equipped and he'd move on.
I think you may also need to remove the screen to get enough room to access with pliers as well.

I too am very glad I'm behind secure parking in London and any temptation to park up in a normal bay is rapidly evaporating... What a sh*te piece of design!

Not a 2 minute job, awkward to get the screws in, especially the RHS. Any potential thief would be at it for 20mins assuming he had the correct tools.
