Clunk!

Hi all,
I took a couple of pictures of the underside of my shaft drive, after I felt quite a bit of oil under there.
Would you say this looks typical?
In theory the oil has been changed recently (or at least that’s what I’ve been charged for..) but I’m not convinced.
Thanks if anyone has feedback.

Works ok for me.

Not on here it doesn't.

Try uploading the pic again, Tapatalk is easiest.

Decent chance that is the pinion seal. That could be related to a drive shaft problem if there is one, or it could be a separate issue and no drive shaft problem. Might be worth taking it to Steptoe to check final drive bearings and drive shaft. Given the bike's history this is well worthwhile. Do make sure that whoever you take it to checks the pinion bearings
