Hi All,

Am I correct in thinking that the fluid used in the hydraulic clutch does NOT need to be changed every 2 years like the "normal" Brake fluid should be?

If that is the case, then how often should it be changed? (if at all)

Thanks,

S

I think it does not need to be changed as it is a mineral oil that does not attract moisture unlike the brake fluid that is synthetic oil. Dave

Thank you for your replies..
The way my brain works asks why they didn't convert the brakes to use this sort of fluid.

Thanks again,

S

maybe it is due to boiling temperatures?

I only change mine every 5 years. 2 years is a recommendation. Cars go decades without it being changed.
