Clutch Problems!?!

My trusted steed has developed a worrying clutch problem in the last few days which originally surfaced a couple of weeks ago. I noticed recently that the bite point had moved from its normal position from midway between releasing the lever to full extend to a couple of cm's from the bars....the next time I used the beast a few days later things had returned to normal!?!....Then travelling home from work in London to the south coast last night the same problem resurfaced to the point that I was having to blip the throttle to select a gear.I have tried to adjust the clutch from the lever...not much of an improvement..Is the cable knackered or something else???....all comments gratefully recieved....cheers.

First thing that comes to mind is that the plates are slightly worn causing the hydraulic fluid to have risen in the resevoir

that would be the easiest thing to check, if not, maybe the slave cylinder is sticking?

Clutch Problem Sorted!!!!

....Turned out to be the slave cylinder...those good eggs at Prestige fixed it in a jiffy and nothing to pay either...don't you just love warranty!!!
