I think you might be able to attach them onto the small bolt that secures the harness on the battery terminals.

I’ll give it a go 👍

IIRC there’s a cover over the pos so I’ll have to be careful of pinching it.

re. the terminals on the charger lead, snip a section out of the circle to make a U shape. You can then clamp this in place without removing the bolt. I do this on bike batteries that have that loose nut that is a bastard to refit.

Great idea. I did consider fitting ‘u’ shaped connectors on, but I’m liking this idea more 👍🏽

For anyone with a bmw car……

I now have a good OBD machine to register services new batteries etc.

I also have Bimmer Code and a dongle which works a treat, it’s not tied to a car or any number of.

If anyone wants any coding done, pop round and you’re welcome to use it.

What you can code is almost limitless……

I’m not far from Ripley, bring biscuits.

Likewise but in Central Scotland :-)

And all sorted.

Battery 120

Dongle 25

Bimmercode 50 (for life)

OBD already owned but 50 quid for high end version.

Optimate 5 start stop 70

That’s all done for 320 quid ish.

BMW wanted over 600.

Local indie wanted 60 to fit and code.

No brainer really.

Plus I can charge you mugs 10 quid a go and make out like a bandit 😇😂

I’ve paid for the dongle already nearly….. result
