Dear All

I'm now on my second 2720. I am having problems with a condensation patch appearing on the screen.

I sent my first one back to Gramin which they replaced with a brand new unit. Sadly the new one is exactly the same.

Has any one else had similar problems? Is there a cure?

I could ask for a replacement different unit but I would have to change all my mountings on my bike. However if it is a common fault I might bite the bullet and change unit.

Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated.

It is a common fault.

Try a search; there's loads on this forum.

Lots of Garmins suffer from this (2610 - 2820). Try & put up with it/work around it.

Don't leave the nav unit on the bike overnight; keep it (GPS, not the bike) indoors.

You can open up the vents in the back.

I keep mine in a small soft bag, with some silica gel packets inside.
