I use my GPS's for all sorts of thing but particularly for on and off road navigation rally's. I often have the need to program waypoints into multiple GPS’s and don’t always have access to a PC.
I have the software and the necessary cables to be able to enter the waypoint details on either my Palm or iPaq and transfer them to any Garmin GPS with a round 4 pin connector, I’ve also got a round 4 pin Garmin to Garmin cable to transfer between GPS’s (handy when out in the middle of nowhere).
Now the question – is it/will it be possible to do the same with my 2610? Is there a cable available, or is it possible to make one, to link a Palm or iPaq to a 2610 and a 2610 to a “normal” Garmin 4 pin round connector, such as that of a 12XL.
