Conti trial or road attacks

I have Trail attacks and they are spot on for me, I ride mainly in the mountains and the grip is excellent , and so is the mileage I have 9500 miles on mine and still lots of tread left on.

Not sure TA's are any more grippy than Tourances to be honest. I've got TA's on my GSA at the moment and they are good neutral tyres although they seem to have worn oddly.

If you are a pure road rider, have a look at PR3/4's which get good reports on GS's. I've got a set on a Caponord and they really do grip well but don't go near a muddy track with them:eek:

+1
I had TA's fitted for a recent trip & definitely prefer my EXP's.

Had the trail attack, and much prefer the road attack, although I'd still have the Trail attack rather than another brand if it came down to it. The Tourance are a much slower tyre in my experience - but the road attack were my favourite tyre for fast road work - even on the IOM TT week, where I quite enjoyed putting the S back in the garage and taking the GS for lots of laps :)

I'm looking forward to trying the Evo :)

My brother used to ride a lot in the Italian Alps. By the time the front tyre middle tread was 50% worn, the shoulders would have no treads. The backs wore evenly with graining on the shoulders. Lots of tight bend swinging and powering out.

In UK his tyres are more like mine probably "normal" for our roads. Rear middle tread goes first and fronts get fairly even wear with more used on the shoulders.
Like me he mixes tyre brands front & back.
