just fitted the tank cover........ermmm well guessed where most ties went but thought I ought to ask someone who's already fitted one - are there any places I should have kept away from.
1. I used the two torq screws at beak connection point - as there were two corresponding holes in the cover..........correct ?

2.On the left hand size(sitting on bike) I could not see where the tie with the black hook could fit so left that behind side panal.....?

3.Two front side ties went around tubular bars behind beak.......?

4.Long tie I just feed above horn under bracket and secured .....?

It seems fine and looks OK but worried I may have made a mistake.Thought it alaways better to double check !!!!

Cheers

I fitted the straps in much the same way. I found that the straps with the black clips worked best with the clips reversed (so the lip faced out) they then clipped onto the plastic of the tank cover. Having said that I don't think they make it that much more secure and am wondering about taking them off all together.
I also made the mistake of fixing one of the front straps to an oil pipe but luckily noticed and corrected it.
