Recently I have found when in the bike cradle the unit does not power up automatically but will only run off the battery not via the canbus. The unit isn't charging in the cradle so eventually shuts down.
I have replaced the canbus plug but this hasn't cured the problem, thinking moisture might of got in somehow - but no joy. The in line fuse from the original garmin wiring loom has been removed so it can't be that.
The manual power switch is a bit sticky but it always has been so I don't think it can be that.
The only thing I can think of is that I recently uploaded version 4.20 and I have read of complaints following similar software upgrades. Could this be another?
