Crazy Price Norton Commando PCP Deal

BTW first service cost confirmed as £229. Apparently Norton don’t set this it’s down to each dealer to set their price based on local market.
It’s basically an oil change and check some fluids, I guess. Since there’s no electronic trickery to check or software to update no expensive diagnostic machine needed.

I am looking forward to this!

Anyone want a Triumph T120 with about 500
miles?

Was planning on going out again tomorrow, but I’ve received an email from insurers asking for my NCB proof as it’s not showing on the national database. I’m not prepared to take any risks until they’ve got their act together as we know they have no scruples 🤬

Although it`s not my kinda` thing, i must admit it is a rather handsome motor bicycle.

Nor mine before now.

But for the money and the fact it’s a high end hand built British bike. I’m gonna give it a spin for a couple years.

I can’t see them been made here much longer.

These don’t have any type of Euro approval stuff, I believe and are one- off type approved. This will be the last of this type of bike without noise approvals, emissions approvals, riding modes, auto braking and all the other stuff.

Biking like it used to be, but with less oil leaks!

Out on mine today. I softened the rear preload by 1 turn (loosen the locking plastic grub screws first) and the rear end was better, i could feel it working not just bouncing around. May try another turn to see if it improves further. Must say it floated over the Suffolk lanes i rode today. Now on 101 miles.
I’ve been off bikes for 7 years so taking some time to get back into the swing of things. Had a really good time out on her today.

Got mirrors on but blanking screw I bought sheared 😡 so seller can have them back.

Also fitted reservoir covers
I was actually looking at those, but don’t want to spend big bucks on something I’ll be handing back?! Nice though 🤔

Would that swing you towards buying it at the end of the term? They really are a gorgeous looking bike but as the demographics of bikers continues to rise in the UK......but I suppose, if it rides well, looks great and makes you smile...why wouldn't you hang onto it?

The mirrors I bought were £37 😂

It would, potentially - but the great thing about this deal is we get a 2 year test ride!

Received my "ticket" today, bike seems more real now that Norton have been in touch directly.
Roll on mid April.

Panicking a bit that I do t have a reg number yet, and I need to insure the bike before Saturday. Norton register the bikes, not the dealers, I guess due to type approval

Can you get the chassis number from the dealer ?

Over here you can use that to insure if you don’t have the reg yet, I’d imagine it would be the same in the UK

My dealer told me that it is to be registered once a delivery date to dealer is known, avoiding registered units sitting at the factory plus the fact that until the finance company has paid Norton they would not register in my name. They are honouring the deal as the this was fixed at the point of order as long as the finance had been approved. No worries, just sit back and wait.

Interesting - the bike is at the dealer, but the dealer hasn't sent me all the finance documents yet

Not meaning to pry, but to secure the low rate PCP finance deal the proposal needs to be accepted by the finance company.
Has the dealer said at what stage it will be registered, sounds like you need to progress the finance.

Got the reg this morning. I did the proposal while I was sat with the dealer, in December, which was accepted but apparently there’s some stuff still to sign.
