cruise jacket

I went to hein gericke (doncaster) yesterday to buy cruise jacket but there was none on display, the salesman told me the cruise suit has been discontinued and then went on to try and sell me the new HG master v saying that it was a replacemnt for the cruise suit. does anybody know if this is true as they still seem to for sale on-line, i just got feeling he was trying to push a £500 jacket

I bought a Black and Grey Cruise jacket and trousers from HG in Taunton about a month ago and they reckoned it was their biggest seller, so I would be suprised if it had been discontinued.

I would have thought the Master V was a replacement for the Master IV

My niece works for HG, the cruise has not been replaced and the Master 5 is a replacement for the master 4, obviously talking boll ox

consider other brands

Three friends of mine have all had cruise jackets,All three have returned them on more than one occasion,poor quality being the usual cause.
Check out the HG marquee,s at Bmf shows to get an idea of returns.

Recall

Was in Hein Gericke in Sheffield today. No Cruise jackets there either. Staff said they'd all been recalled to Germany due to 'shortages' elsewhere and they were waiting for more stock.

it will be more a case of recalled due to manufacturing. My niece got me a replacement for my cruise jacket (this will now be my 3rd) and within a week the press stud on right upper pocket broke in two.

Now I wont touch HG any more as this is my 5th jacket replaced under warrenty in 4 years, 2 of them were master 4's.
