Anyone have any idea how much a right side cylinder head is to replace, or if they can be repaired? Im in Switzerland at the moment, and my guards didnt arrive in time before I left. Without fail, I had to lay it down yesterday and the only bit of damage is to the cylinder head itself. Im now looking at replacing or repairing or covering up the left hand guard and wondering how much its going to be.

Thanks in advance for any help

I take it by cylinder heads you mean the end cover - this is the rocker cover and is separate to the head
If its just scratched, stip off the paint, file smooth and take it to a powder coaters who can do a colour match (most do these days).

hi phil, yes I mean just the rocker cover. Its just got some scratching on it from having to put it down. Nothing major but looks unsighlty.

I'll have a look round some powder coaters as there are quite a few near me.

Thanks for your help

The other day my mate dropped his and in his panic to get it right way up as quick as possible he threw it down on the other side - he now has a pair of matching scratched cylinder head covers!

You could always throw your bike down on the other side:augie
