Daft Nva IV questions

Hi guy

Just need some info on the nav IV
What functionality is there from a laptop? I had been told that you could plan and upload journeys on the pc and then upload them to the unit.
I have down loaded Garmin s/w from the web, as you don’t get any with the unit, and it seems just a fairly simple suite to change setting and upgrade maps and firmware. Am I missing something?
Also the thumbwheel control works on the menu’s but not on the zoom function, is this correct

Not sure about the software, but if you hold the wheel to the left or right, it will zoom in and out

did anyone get a manual that actually had the new controls mentioned in it?

When viewing the map, you have to hold the wheel, don't just tap it. It will then zoom.
