Hey all,

Autocom arrived today... easily installed onto the bike (neg to battery and pos to the back of the Aux Power outlet)

All works a treat... except... I want to make sure I have the helmet comms set up correctly before i start gluing and fixing it all to my lid...

Now, its an Arai Quantum F (but luckily I need to get a new lid anyway, so i can use this as a bit of a practice)

Anyway, pulled out the cheek pieces and there are little elipse shaped dimples behind them (between the shell and the polystyrene)

So do the speakers go here?

Or do they need to go on the inside of the polystyrene i.e. directly against the ear (obviously with the helmet material inbetween)

Cheers in advance

Did mine like that on my arai,

the volume can be adjusted from your unit to cover the fact it has to go through the thickness .

thanks Paul,

So did you fiddle about with the positioning of the speakers? or just slap them into the dimple things and go with it?

I'm struggling with the concept of moving them about when its such a faff having to take out cheek pieces etc... :augie

mate, I fit the speakers so they are sat horizontal sat just on top of the foam stuck to the polystyrene via some strips of velcro. the blue cloth of the cheek pads would then cover up the speaker but would not really effect the volume levels
