PS As you approach Cassel, the second level crossing is built like a tank trap. It's better than it was the first time I barrelled over with ChasMill... but still a bit

For general info for anybody: We generally pull in at J 11 on the M20, for a fill-up and coffee before heading to 11a for the tunnel .
I also put a co loured rubber band on the right hand mirror -arm, just as a reminder when in Europe what side I should be riding on, especially useful when at junctions.
