Cotswold BMW have offered me ACF90 treatment and valet for 50 quid.

Does any one have experience of this ?

Is it going to be as good as the "All Year Biker" treatment ?

Thanx

You can get the same from Bahnstormers for £30....really good treatment and bike looked like new but £50 sounds a little toppy to me.

I've had my RT done, & it looks like new, so I took the GSA in.
Good hours work cleaning the RT (which beforehand looked like it had ploughed a field) & then the techs time applying the ACF50 - I'm happy at the price charged.

Check exactly what is included. I watched mine being done at a main dealer as I wanted to see how they do the wheels and spokes on the Adv. Turns out they didn't do them at all and missed the final drive too.

Not sure I'd trust a dealer after my bike got treated wit acid cleaner all over and not rinsed off properly.

Thanx Guys.

I think i will make the effort and use All Year Biker.

I have not heard a bad report about them.

I can answer this now :thumb2

Had my last bike done by All Year Biker in Newbury a while back, and just had the GS done by Cotswold, I am not going to say either one is better, worse or whatever, they are a bit different in service and price so make up your own mind.

The AYB offering is a full Valet, my bike was cleaned completely, then dried completely before the ACF50 was applied as a fine mist, which is how the US Navy do their carrier jets, lastly the bike was polished. The end result was a bike gleaming like new with a fine layer of ACF everywhere. At £60 well worth the money and about two solid hours work.

Last Friday I had a yearly service done by Cotswold, I had intended to get AYB to do the GS, however it would have meant another trip to Newbury, so I decided to get it done by Cotswold at the same time saving £10 in fuel and £10 on the cost.

They serviced the bike and did the ACF in less time that AYB did their "thing", when collecting the bike it was dripping wet, certainly it had been washed off and was pretty clean, not AYB clean, but good enough, but it was still wet and had not been polished, but I guess for the £20 I saved I can dry it off and polish it myself.

I did not see the Cotswold application method, but it looks sprayed on in the traditional way as it was pretty thick in places to the point of running lines, I would guess the AYB method gets into nooks and crannies better, but I am in no doubt either service gets a good amount of ACF where it is needed most.

just tried S Doc cleaner-best i've used so far AND does a great job on spokes.
Isn't that part of the biking experience- doing it yourself then gloating in your own Master of the Universe persona?
