As part of my ongoing search for what I want as a new bike - I found this video I had done on the Desert X and never published

So have tickled it up a bit

As you say 'Balanced'......I wouldn't want to get off it either.

I can't keep up with new bike prices, I guess £14K is/was probably about right - but it's a shed load of money.....God knows where they get a grand for a set of panniers? Lovely bike though particularly on those amazing roads.

I'm looking forward to the 125cc shoot out - hope that there are some two strokes in there. Reminds me of the 'Shoot out' tests that Bike magazine used to do 50 years ago.

Enjoyed the video. I have a sneaky suspicion that you're going to regret selling your Multi'......:thumb

Haha Bike shoot out good idea
So far we have
4 new ish Honda Monkeys
A CT Postie bike
A MZ 125 traillie
A Honda XL 125
A Lifan 90 monkey
And a wildcard Ariel Leader
I may have forgotten others

Will have to wait for the weather to improve

We are working out where to do it maybe by the Elan Dam area

Re the 125cc 'Shoot Out'

Might I suggest you beg, borrow or steal a 125cc Cagiva Mito - in red of course.

STILL the coolest 125cc ever and it will take you back to your 350LC days.......

It would put the fear of God into every bike in the list above......:D

my mate in Aus had a mito so I spent a fair bit of time riding it
i remember doing a trackday I was on my R1200GS and he came round the outside of me on a tight corner and I was riding as hard as I could
As I remember it had 7 gears

His was a Lucky Strike one

never seen one here in the UK
