Hi, 1200GSA 1st service(600 mile)at Williams Manchester.
i was told the FD oil is changed on the 600 mile service at time of booking the service and was charged for it...but excuse my ignorance but what is the procedure?
Removed the Hershel while cleaning my bike today and expected to see a filler/level plug, but there isn't one..there is a drain plug and the breather..is the filler on the wheel side ?.
Might i also add the Hershel or the rear wheel dont appear to have been off since the bike was built.
Sorry if i have missed something here, but since getting this 2011 GSA 1200 the ordering/buying/cleaning and ownership(short that it is) of this bike have been much more 'complicated' and less striaght forward than any of the KTM's iv'e had.
Thanks for any replies..good or bad.

as I saw the bike on the test ride as I return from brekky at Sainbury's (good value and plenty of it - sorry I digress
). Anyway, I chatted to the mechanic lad (seemed about 18) who went through the FD oil change (filler is on hub behind the wheel) and I could see marks on the exhaust (taken off on a RT). Looks real easy to do. I might change it regularly myself and keep an eye on swarf etc.
