Did Dealer change my FD oil ??

I should of added that i don't have to pay for the oil... one of the few benefits working in the LGV trade.

Are you sure you're not in breach of the warranty terms by changing the oil so often? Is there any evidence of increased failure rate for FD's by using 12 x the amount of new oil than the published service intervals state?

If i didn't have a source for getting the oil FOC i still wouldn't leave it in there 12k
By over servicing the machine or components fitted to it you are most definitely not in breach of the T&C of your warranty.
As the time / distance criteria stated is the maximum before it must be inspected /replaced etc...Nothing is stated about minimum.

Rear tyre = £120 / FD oil Change + £3

The first requires changing every 4k, the second is easy to do at the same time.

Maybe 12k is OK - assuming it gets done, every tyre change is convenient and cheap - still not re-assuring enough to stop me coughing up for extended warranty though!

Well we've heard no definative answer yet from the OP & it must have been a week. Just a thought - since the drain's on the bottom and you can fill them through the breather plug once its been removed ( it just pulls off folks)maybe I've just answered his question!!.
So I'd say "yes they probably did change it".
