Doc does a bike move

Might be tricky with 1200 miles to cover in 4 days.
300 miles per day is too much on back roads 4 days on the trot.
I’ve just done a week away doing about 170 miles most days and that’s starting at 0830 ish and finishing about 1530.
Doc would be on the go from 0600 to 2000 ish each day !
I’d mix it up and do a good 300 mile blast on motorways followed by a bit of twisties then more motorway etc .
But that would require planning , eh Chris 😜🤔
My Brother departed the ferry in Dieppe in his 1967 Jag and made it to mine in two days, all on back roads...1100 miles, no motorways at all...I was just as shocked as he was!

With an 80 kph limit for at least half the journey, let's hope there aren't too many speeding fines incoming.

I can't recall who set the Forum record for one trip across France - anyone prepared to confess?

Not me but I did do 680 miles on a Husky 701 in a day from Western Spain to Brittany.

Fuck me, you could suck the joy out of a piece of granite.

I have paid hundreds of euros in fines throughout Europe, everyone was worth it.

Nice room for my first night. Think I'm going to Passau Germany today no idea why and about 345 ,miles.
Get my stuff sorted on the bike bit of breakfast and I'm off. Bit cool at mo but will warm up later.
