Doc does Cochem ( and a few others )

incidentally Doc, what was the entry to holland like ? still have to show covid barcodes etc ? or has all that gone now from the dutch. ?

Managed a ride out yesterday late on to Sankt Goar yesterday. Brilliant weather with lots of bikes out.
T-shirt riding weather its that hot. Nearly had a off after narrowly missing a Deer luckily I was going slow.

Very nice. A run down the Moselle is more than pleasant. Plenty of tempting places to stop for refreshment.:beer:

Nice bike one of your mates has (Yamaha XV19 Stratoliner if I'm right). I always fancied one of those.

Yes it is. Its a bloody big bike but he's rather a large bloke.

We are very good customers of that winery. Girl who makes it said we did about 15 bottles the other night at 16 Euro a pop.
Not sure on last night.

I didn't know that the winefests started so early. I normally go to Bernkastel-Kues the first week in September for their bloody amazing winefest and normally take a few bimbles down the Moselle, passing through Cochem and thereabouts. Haven't been for the last couple of years for obvious reasons, but will be back again this year.

Looks like an excellent trip so far!

Boat trip news from yesterday.
Taxi ride to get the boat or so we thought.
Turned out it was canoes.;) so moved on to the next plan. :beer:
And one of the lads has hurt his ankle which could be a problem.
