I'm keen to improve my riding and learn new skills but can't seem to contact my local group.

Was always one of my arguments as an Examiner in South Yorkshire ...

Come October I started to get tests coming in from all the surrounding areas, Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Derbyshire as respective Examiners and Groups put their bikes away for the Winter.

The Sheffield Group kept going :thumb

Good luck
:beerjug:

Bungy, If you go on the main IAM website and purchase the skills for life package, your local group will contact you automatically, thereafter. Ive done the skills for life like many and it represents excellent value.

Thanks for all of the responses. I'll try some other routes to get a reply. I was trying to be patient and followed the guidance on their website.

Yep. As above. Have had to delay two sessions recently due to the weather but no general cessation.

It not always that the local IAM groups which shut down - I suspect none actually close although some of their members/observers may put their bikes off the road during the winter - it's more a problem when examiners decide not to ride and consequently tests are delayed

All year here in SW Scotland , in fact just passed my test yesterday in the pouring rain
