Thanks Keith!

I had a look on that club website and there are a few going in the FS&W section. The £3k one is on there. Just not sure if I will get a good range of response about prices.

At least on here you know you will get a opposing views on prices :D

If I turn up (gatecrash) ... will they take offence? Are you planning to go?

:nenau

The Arrow Mill is always welcome to all bikers and Sunday in particular attracts lots of bikers of all types. I was talking to Dennis who owns the Mill last week and he was telling me about the Monster weekend - I shall be going down to take a look myself but I am fortunate in that I only live 7 miles away :D Dennis rides a 1200RT and his son and daughter in law both have their own 1200GSes.

I've got an S2R800.

It is fantastic and has been totally reliable so far, although it is only 12 months old. Fuel injected bikes are apparently more reliable.

I also think they are fantastic value for money - you should be able to get a 1 year old S2R800 for around £4000.
If you want if for riding about town you would be best getting a 620 or S2R800 with a wet slipper clutch - the bigger or older bikes have very unfriendly dry clutches for riding in traffic.

Go on - you know it looks better than a Harley!

Nice looking bike:thumb2

Shame they are so small, if it were 10% bigger I'd not look so silly on one.

Yes I saw one in Southampton last week. :nono
I am sure they are easier to keep clean and if I used mine every day I suppose I might think about changing the colour of the wheels, but I prefer the white ones. I think they set it off really well.:D :rose

Yes I know the owner of that bike - it ils lovely, although I believe she is currently doing a make-over of it.
