Just switched on the pooter and the modem didnt light up, everything was working fine.

Checked all the connections; OK

Switched off and on again; still no modem

unplugged modem from USB at the back of the box, and put it into another USB socket; aha! Joy, modem lights up as normal.

Then I realise I've unplugged the keyboard, so plug it back into the old modem socket; everything now fine with the pooter.



Did they just fancy a change of scene?

Just googled the phrase 'modem' and nothing came up - presumably it's pre tinternet term

Ps. No you can't come on the trip, you have to stay here to deal with sea/sky for me etc.
