Quick question for those that understand electrics better than me.
I have a 05 1150GS Adv
Bike starts and runs fine in the last week in the low temps.
I have been using a Klan heated waistcoat which apparently draws 3.5amps (42watts @ 12v) via the lower accessory socket and occasional use of the lower setting of heated grips.
Lighting is 1x HID, normal side light and a LED rear.
But yesterday evening whilst heading down to South London after work and when stopping at lights the bike stalled a few times and on one occasion the clock reset.
Could it just be a case of the bike is overloaded at idle? or a early sign that the battery is showing it's age.
Cheers
Stuart
Edit, to note
The bike had been laid up from Mid dec until last week with occasional charging with Optimate, but started first time no probs after the lay up.
