Engine oil for 1250?

I need to change the oil on my GS1250 and have some Castrol Power1 4T 10w 50 fully synthetic
Is this ok? what is the recommended grade now the handbook just says buy BMW!!

put your spectacles on as the manual gives the recommendation for viscosity, API & JASO ratings. Then decide for yourself ...
