I was over with Mark on Tue getting the bike serviced along with a few other jobs and saw the transplant job up close - very interesting indeed.

Can I say he did a top job on my bike and really went out of his way to resolve a particularly stubborn broken spoke end which I hadn't been able to remove. First class! It's great that he's OK with you seeing what's going on with the bike compared to it disappearing behind closed doors. Nice spin on the courtesy bike too. Ta. :thumb2

I too would like to endorse Mark and his workmanship. He did a full service, fitted two new tyres & sorted an irritating throttle problem for me. Fantastic work and I didn't need the ECB to pay the bill :thumb2. I also supplied him with a micro switch and he re built the left hand indicator switch which had stopped working. This saved me having to buy a new set of switches. Thanks again Mark. I will be back. :beerjug:

Over heated, very....very...overheated, had melted a few bits including the upper cam chain guide rails which are bolted from internal in the engine....meaning, cheaper to replace block with a 2nd hand one

Ahhhhhhhh ha The Old I'll start the engine and charge the battery ploy

THEN the phone rings ........

and History forms as they witter ....

You got it in one, warm her up, into the house to put jacket on....distracted....hour and a half later, sight glass had popped out, oil all over floor and ran until ran out of petrol....a sickening thing to happen
