Engine warning light

Had the engine warning light come up yesterday along with a message that I should have the engine inspected by a BMW technician.
This happened immediately after filling up at a BP garage with standard unleaded. I have used this particular garage many times.
I alternate between super with standard, as I have done on my last two GSA’s & two GS’s.
The bike rode perfectly for the remaining +30 miles of my journey.
Today, I checked and it was still on. However, having rode it for about 6 miles, it cleared itself! No message triangle, nothing. Engine check ok.
Anyone experienced anything similar?
2021 GSA, about 5600 miles. No other issues whatsoever.
I will get it checked out anyway, as I’ve a big tour at the end of June.

I'd say coincidence with the fuel & fill up. If it's gone and the bike's all OK I'd just crack on.

Flappy valve sticking will throw a check engine light, but might not noticeably affect the ride.

I had this 2 weeks ago. Into the dealers new exhaust fitted.
