I’ve just refitted my shocks after having them rebuilt by TTech. Everything is plugged in correctly and powered up BUT I cannot change preload. ESA switch cycles between comfort, norm and sport but won’t change preload at all. Stuck in single helmet mode.

Any ideas?

I have an ABS fault as the sensor is bust and I’m waiting for a new one but that wouldn’t affect it, would it?

Emailed TTech but wondering if anyone on here could shine some light perhaps?

Sometimes when the battery voltage is low it struggles to change the pre load . Maybe a poor battery ?

I had the same problem albeit some time ago. Here’s the thread.

Good luck sorting it. Probably the motor gone pop.

I think I’ve diagnosed it after reading AustinW’s thread. The rear abs is buggered therefore it can’t tell if the bike is stationary or moving and ESA preload only works when stationary. See what happens when the new sensor arrives.

Thanks everyone.

I fitted a new ABS sensor into the rear of the bike last night and the ESA now works as expected, the system must require a signal from the ABS to work correctly. So it’s all fixed.
I think because the preload can't/shouldn't be operated while riding, the system will first need to confirm the bike is at standstill. A faulty abs sensor will prevent that... Great you got it fixed ☺️
