ESA - Yes or No?

ESA, to have or not to have!

I have it in my GSA, and i love it, its a mean cornering machine.

Its all straightforward, ESA does the all adjustments, they are based on the weigh and the eight of the suspension, that's why some of them need to be done, with the bike stopped, to determine the real height.

Very easy to adjust: solo/solo+luggage/pillion = (sport/normal/conf) = mild off road/heavy off road.

There are no grey areas so not much time can be lost with adjustments, what you see is what you get.

This is one of the things you don't realize you need till you actually try it (like women, when you are pre adolescent ;) ehehe

Cheers

Well, the new 1200GS is on order but I didn't specify electronic suspension adjustment as I'm not likely to do any serious off-roading on it. But is it worth having for general road use and would it improve the re-sale value to any significant degree? (It may not be too late to change the spec).

What's your thoughts? Any advice welcome.

I've ridden a couple of Beemers with ESA and it is surprisingly useful; however I wouldn't buy it because I prefer to keep things a simple as possible - I'm not sure that it would make a great deal of difference to re-sale a few years down the line and I wonder what it costs to replace WHEN it fails?
