Failure!!!

Of the brake kind.
I've got a 2007 adventure. I had battery on charge fired her up took her up the road then spotted Brake Failure had turned to red solid (ie not flashing)
I've cleaned rear bulb. None of the brake pedal or handle are touching.
I've disconected battery and charged it again in case it cleared fault but no such luck. Also cleaned plug from abs ring sensor.
I don't know where to go from here really, except new battery?
Any ideas?
Failing that anyone in somerset with 911 fault code jobbie in exchange for cider?
Just trying to keep away from dealer as totally potless and trying to avoid selling my toy

Have you another bulb you could try?

does it come on for low fluid or worn pads? check simple stuff first

Yep tried new bulb, both filaments working.
fluid,pads,etc all good

I think you need the gs911 option, even if you fix the thing the lamp might only get reset with a 911 or a dealer visit, so you could end up chasing round in circles
