Fair play to BMW

Must be a European thing. My fuel pump controller shat 15 km from home. The bike was freighted some 500 odd km for repair. But now its repaired I have to retrieve it.
I think the service I have received in Australia for my $30k motorcycle sucks

Nah you dont need to bother with that cover for a Jap bike, they are ready for the crusher before 26k.

In 2007 I have experienced the exact same excellent service from BMW. One of the important reasons why, despite 2 problematic (but superb) BMW boxers between 2004-2007, I still own and ride a 08 GSA. If only they could sort them out a little bit better, before hitting the streets, the bikes would be unrivaled.
