Part 5
Not a farkle, but more of an anti farkle or return to spec. When riding early Monday morning I noticed the headlight was illuminating through a hole in the rear of the headlight connection. Thought it was odd but I’m an 1150 noob so thought nothing of it! Tom at a bike thing saw it and thought it was odd straightaway. Once again, onto Motorworks for some assistance.

They advised it definitely should not be open and definitely needed covering up! Unfortunately, they don’t sell them new and were out of stock for used.
About a week ago I bought a used headlight unit off of eBay for an absolute steal. My plan was to experiment with an LED bulb upgrade, but as I’ve previously stated I hate anything electrical.
Lo and behold when I opened the box to the new headlight, it had two intact cover plates!
Hopefully I haven’t committed an GSer sin by covering this
but she’s done and back to spec.

P.s. clock is now reading the correct time of 15:07.
