Farkling my new to me R1150GSA.

This GSA is a long term UKGSER bike, owned for the majority of its life by another site member before finding its way to Mikeyboy a few years back, I bought it from Mikeyboy….. it’s a high miler but runs oh so sweet - it’s got a Mikeyboy gearbox, Steptoe has had hands on over the years fitting a clutch at 90k - I had the Ohlins shocks rebuilt (gulp££) and it has all the major mods done….. I rode it to Spain and back it was faultless, and the ride is perfect…

Remind me why I sold it again…..

Check out the 2003 Morocco pictures…..take a close look at her when she was two years old….

The original owner is still on here…. Just need to remember his user name…

Absolutely fantastic. Thank you for posting these photos!!!

Part 1.5

This may not be categorised as a farkle, but definitely a Sparkle. I make it a habit of treating my bikes (and have done since I first started riding in 2015) with a mega deep clean and an ACF 50 Treatment. I never do this myself as I bloody hate cleaning my bikes and this time I certainly didn't. I usually use All Year Biker who do a top job but unfortunately due to illness my usual guy had to cancel. The only person that could fit me in was a full blown detailer and my word what a job he has done!! He even machine polished the tank!

When the guy pulled up he must have had a chuckle to himself. This guys Instagram feed is full of high end luxury sports cars (Ferarri! Etc) and here's this pig ugly perfect beast waiting to be cleaned

Everyone likes a clean bike but I only do it for the anti corrosion properties. I want to add to the rich history of this machine by covering many a mile and I want it in bloody condition.

I am so impressed with how this turned out and I would highly recommend if you're in the South Coast! Check out On Point Detailing.

Poor thing; it'll probably need a lay down* after all that rubbing :augie

*All GS's need an occasional lie, most often at slow/no speed.

I have to keep reminding myself that i have one of these in bits in the garage
