My wife and I attended an FBOS course run by SW Ambualnce Service this last Sat at Dorchester Ambulance Station. The course was given by a chap called Mike Needham - Lead Paramedic for the SWAS and all round top chap.
What a worthwhile day. The tuition was informal and friendly with some good pearls of wisdom and anecdotal content thrown in.
If I have to remember just one thing from the day it'll be how to take a crashed rider's helmet off in the safest possible manner.
Thanks to all at SWAS and I suggest to anyone looking to do such a course to go ahead and do it. You just never know...
