When I put it next to the GS..there should be an atomic fusion !!!

Now Andy, back to your air cooled tractor board please - ;)

Kenny

only 50% of it kenny and thats only cos' i'm married to its owner. but a good tip is to start looking for 40 amp fuses NOW!! because they are like rocking horse s**t and when one does go - and believe me- they do... youll be stuffed

all of this controversy over fitting a beak... had fun on the thread though

BOUGHT!? your havin' a laugh

Tim, It's got no numberplate on yet.....think of a number, any number LOL
Had to sell a few things to 'acquire' it though.....mobile phone battery charger springs to mind etc etc

...and what are you doing on this 650 forum anyway ??????

Marion, Are those 40 amp fuses the double spade type or a round type ( they won't be easy to 'acquire')

'Honest' ken

double spade but if you order any from your local friendly garage, make sure they are the right size, my local yokel garage got me the big ones that only fit in hedge hog wagons (discoverys)

if in doubt , have a look .

Rode my new Triumph baby home today...and didn't blow a fuse !!!
Having said that Marion, you didn't tell me I had to run it in at 3,500 rpm ( 58 miles per hour!!!)...................only for the first 100 miles though.
Well chuffed with it....and because it's my new toy...the GS has been relagated (only for today) to the back of my shed ;-)
Took my better half for a run on the GS down to Chester river yesterday, enjoyed an ice cream and cigar ( most have a flake!!)
Well impressed with the passenger carrying effort of the GS....didn't really feel her ( !!! ) on the rear :-)

Kenny

well.... i call that a good speed for posing for the first 100 miles
any faster and nobody will be able to spot your new bike...
has it got a name yet?

Oi, your getting as bad as judge...what are you doing on here !!!

Anyway, as you know, it's a nice shed.....and I'm at home 24/7 for the next ten years !!

I'll bring the Triumph down to you after you have attended the @og rally....just don't drool over her !!!

Now what name shall I call her.....Terminator !!

Hey Marion, mine only has 30 amp fuses !! And there is no effin spanner in the tool-kit to remove that massive rear nut on the spindle :-(

Anyway...let's get on with praising the F650GS...... :-)

Kenny

promise this is the last non gs post i will send.... but if you think thats bad kenny...
i met a girl who had a day old Benelli Tornado yesterday. she had broken down because she had lost the fob with her immobiliser key on it and her spare was in Kent (no sexist comments please but she did find a nice man to get her back)

she spent over £11,000 on the bike, there was no tool kit with the bike and enough space under the seat for 2 marlborough lights.

her owners handbook is in the form of a CD ROM so if she needs to refer to it in the middle of nowhere, she's got to cart her laptop around with her too!!

and you think you've got problems xx
