Hi, has anyone had a 2610 or similar repaired by Garmin recently? ... I need to know the price and the turnaround time for one of my customers ... and there just aren't enough hours in the day to stay on hold with them...

I had a faulty screen, out of warranty garmin now offer a replacement reconditioned unit cost £150.00 ish with 12 month guarantee some places on web offering 2610 for £187.00 would this be a better option ?

as i recollect its a fixed price for repair, i think its supposed to take 10 working days. however mine was away for almost 21 days so they waived the fee and sent me a new unit with codes to match. oabtw it was 2610 around september time.
