Foot pump

there was a Michelin electric pump on American Restorations the other day.

guy spent $1500 having it done up

I like to have a foot pump in the garage but there is so much crap around - made in China I guess.

Might start looking around the antique shops

Where the 12v compressor scores is on a scorching day abroad, topping up a not so slow puncture, with the bike fully loaded...

mine self ignited after 15 minutes and the tyre was still not pumped up.

Worth checking

If you are relying on a compressor on tour, just trial it out before you go.

I found to my detriment that it was fine for doing airbeds but when under load the canbus can kept tripping it out.
I ended up using a non canbus socket, wired direct from the battery.

Wouldent be without one, brought one in Wal Mart Palm Springs in 2001 for brilliant even put a new k80 on the rear of the gs with it never thought it would seal but it did!.
