For ALL Shit’Air Stickers, comments, questions and moans

If ive worked my route out correctly, i should avoid the need to have one of these,

but working on the basis of,

A) Getting lost ( a distinct possibility with my nav skills lol)

B) A forced detour ,

It may be prudent to buy one jic

Check my V5, and its usless lol .... feck all on it ----

It meets blighty's ULEZ standard, no charge :)

But according to our french cousins its a dirty Euro 3 ,

its a 2016 GS btw

Is that correct?

Stay away from all cities and you should be fine.

That's my plan with my 2013 GSA.

my 2016 R1200RS is Euro 3. This gets a yellow #2 Crit Air sticker.

My 2017 Triumph, no longer owned, was Euro 4. This gets the highest #1 purple sticker.

The system does not recognise Euro 5 for newer bikes.

I don't think all of the fields on the application form are mandatory, just enter what details you have and provide the photo of your V5. You should get a yellow sticker.

Ta :), which page of the V5 ? fornt page or data page? or both ;)

Does the critair sticker even relate to bikes ?. If it does, get one they only cost a couple of quid. Why risk it ?.

I think you will need both as the VIN is only on p1 - I think I scanned the V5 at work into a PDF which is one of the file formats allowed. It was 2017 though, so wibble ...

It does relate to bikes. I recently got one for my 1200R.

And it's acceptable in Spain where they cant issue their equivalent to foreign registered vehicles.

I dont have one, been through many French cities never had any issues without one.

I don't see any stickers on the french vehicles so why bother.

i stand corrected, they do relate to bikes. Mind you, its taken me ages to get one for the wing, and it won't let me have one for the scooter..

Why not just conform and comply. :nenau

It's cheap and easy. I have them for two bikes and a car.

Lille is covered by one of these Crit'air zones. Who hasn't been through Lille on one of the four autoroutes which meet there?

the autoroutes have exemptions as was discussed recently in the context of Nancy

It’s not on my route to Blighty, I do go to Lyon now and again and a couple of other cities but I think my chances of getting busted for not having a sticker are probably less than winning the lottery

If I lived in Paris I’d spend the 3 or 4 euros they cost but I’d rather live in Walsall than live in Paris so it’s not going to be a problem :D

I haven’t. Or at least, not that I can recall.

I am usually south-west to south of the place, on the axis St Omer / Cambrai.
