Down in Monmouth/Forest of Dean this weekend.
Hoping to do some green laning on the Saturday.
Any recommendations grid references etc etc

Watch yourself around there... don't wonder around outside after dark and don't under any circumstances ask them about the bear!!!



didn't think there was much out that way in terms of green lanes, will be interested to hear what you find and what it's like

Take a look here:

Look for brown and red lines and then work out where they are on the OS map.
The browns are UCRs of which there seems to be plenty to be going on with between Usk and Chepstow and also just off the A466 south of Monmouth, and the reds are BOATs of which there isn't a lot.

Should me enough for a days play with a bit of road work. No idea what they are like tho.

Don't know any trails but The Woodman in Parkend does fantastic food and has accomodation if you need it.

Oh ok,rob was telling me theres a shack in viney hill that if you leave some change under the mat you can use the beast chained up round the back, wasnt sure what he meant, must be a forest thing
