Fork crimping

[West coast gser]

Been reading these posts on facebook BMW GS GIANTS and ADVrider about the fork top crimps failing and the forks coming out of the top yoke .. has anybody experienced it on here ? is it just affecting the newer models or is it thru the whole GS boxer range... ?

Yes... Which are crimped into the tubes ...... But It's only a problem on the watercooled bikes
